Job summary

University Hospitals in Cleveland is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Radiation Oncology West team. The APP will work independently with patients in active treatment and survivorship, in a setting that includes UH Cleveland Medical Center and Seidman west side satellites.

The role follows a Mon-Fri schedule with no weekends or holidays. Oncology experience is preferred, and APP education is essential for qualification.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited PA program (Required).
• MSN Master's Degree in Nursing (Required).
• 1+ years as a Physician Assistant preferred; 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Advanced Practice Provider Radiation Oncology-West - ( 260007AR )

Seeking an A dvanced Practice Provider to join the ambulatory Radiation Oncology team at UH Cleveland Medical Center and Seidman west side satellites. The APP will work independently seeing patients both active treatment and survivorship. The schedule is Mon-Fri 5 days week no weekends or holidays. APP and Oncology experience preferred.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Licenses and Certifications

• Physician Assistant (PA) (Required) and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required) and
• Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire) and
• Maintain national PA Certification (Required)
• Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required) and
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required) and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
