OSF HealthCare in Illinois seeks a Family, Urgent, or Emergency Medicine APP for a busy urgent care practice. A mix of APPs and physicians supports patient care in a collaborative environment.

Typical shifts are 12 hours, three days per week, with opportunities for extra shifts for additional pay. There is no call, no afterhours, and no follow-up required.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in nursing or PA studies; IL license; ANCC/NCCPA certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Minimum two years of APP experience in urgent care or related field preferred.

JOB SPECIFICS

• Busy urgent care practice seeks a Family, Urgent or Emergency Medicine APP to serve our well-established practice with a growing patient base.
• Practice model includes a combination of APP’s and physicians.
• Prompt care clinic hours are Mon-Friday, 8am – 8pm. A typical shift would be twelve hours, three times a week. There are also opportunities to work extra shifts for additional pay if desired.
• Excellent work/life balance with no call, no afterhours and no follow-up

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
  • Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in urgent care or a related field is preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
