Job summary

Intermountain Health in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a licensed APRN or Physician Assistant to join Elkhorn Pediatrics as part of a compassionate care team delivering high-quality pediatric care.

You’ll perform medical history intake, examinations, immunizations, sports physicals, ADHD/ADD management, and care for chronic conditions, with a strong emphasis on patient experience and teamwork; 40-hour work week, competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed APRN in state of Nevada or eligible for license
• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II–V and Federal DEA Certificate II–V

About this role

As an Intermountain Health Provider you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role you will perform a variety of duties such as medical history intake, physician examinations, sports physicals, ADHD/ADD management, circumcisions, well childcare and immunizations, treating childhood injuries and illnesses, and monitoring chronic diseases.

You will practice at Elkhorn Clinic - Pediatrics in Las Vegas, NV

Requirements

• -2 years working experience as a provider in a clinic setting, required.

What you’ll bring

• Current state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).


• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.


• OR


• Current state license as a Physician Assistant


• Current certification from a recognized certifying organization such as the National Commission of Physician Assistants.


• AND


• Applicable experience as defined by position leadership


• AND


• Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.


• Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.


• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
