The Advanced Practice Provider will provide medical care for patients under the direct supervision of the MD for Nash UNC Specialty Services or designated backup physicians, in accordance with North Carolina Law. The provider will participate in patient care as determined by the supervising physician, adhering to applicable law, hospital regulations, and delineation of privileges, while ensuring no actions outside the scope of practice occur. A supervising physician or backup physician is available at all times via telephone or pager, with contact numbers held by the Medical Staff Office and hospital operators.
