Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Pain Management team. This role requires a Master’s degree and active NJ licensure with NP/PA board certification, plus BLS and CDS/DEA.

The APP will deliver advanced clinical care, educate patients and staff, and participate in research across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
• Board certification as Nurse Practitioner or as Physician Assistant; Active New Jersey License; AHA BLS and CDS/DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing practices within pain management and collaborate with the health care team.
• Educate staff and patients; participate in clinical research and protocol development.
• Serve as a key member of the multidisciplinary team across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Job Description: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Pain Management Camden, NJ

The Advanced Practice Nurse assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty.

In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.

The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Education Requirements

Master’s Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree is required.

License/Certification Requirements
