Job summary

Tampa General Medical Group (TGMG) is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its multi-specialty practice affiliated with Tampa General Hospital. The PA will deliver nursing and medical services to individuals, families, and groups, with emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

The ideal candidate holds current Florida PA licensure and has experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, sub-acute care, or geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Physician Assistant in Florida.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, sub-acute or geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases.
• Work autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems.
• Maintain an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies.

The PA provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing heath promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems. Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications
