Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopaedic Urgent Care team in Paoli, PA. This PRN on-site role supports patient care with evenings and weekend hours, offering 2–4 shifts per month.

As an APP, you will take histories, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Take detailed histories, perform assessments, and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests to support care planning.

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled APP to join our team in Paoli, PA. Position Summary

Premier Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team in Orthopaedic Urgent Care at Paoli, PA office. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with top-tier specialists, assist with diagnostics, and contribute to our patients’ comprehensive care journey. This is a PRN on-site role. We are seeking an APP to work 2 - 4 shifts/month (evenings and weekends).

Scheduling Needs

• Weeknights: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Sundays: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Take detailed histories, perform assessments, and ensure patient needs are met with the highest quality care.
• Diagnostic Procedures: Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests to support comprehensive care planning.
• Collaboration: Work alongside physicians to assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans.
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Keep accurate, up-to-date patient charts using Athena (or other EMR systems).
• Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Licenses & Certifications

• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain).

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, ideally in orthopaedics or a related field.
• Familiarity with Athena or other EMR systems preferred.
