Premier Orthopaedics in Paoli, PA is seeking a dedicated APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our orthopedic urgent care team on a PRN, on-site basis. The role supports patient care after-hours and weekends.

You will perform histories, assessments, order and interpret tests, and collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans. Requires PA/NP license in PA, 1 year orthopaedics experience preferred, and EMR experience (Athena).

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active PA or NP license in PA or eligibility to obtain.

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled APP to join our team in Paoli, PA. Position Summary

Premier Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team in Orthopaedic Urgent Care at Paoli, PA office. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with top-tier specialists, assist with diagnostics, and contribute to our patients’ comprehensive care journey. This is a PRN on-site role. We are seeking an APP to work 2 - 4 shifts/month (evenings and weekends).

Scheduling Needs

• Weeknights: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Sundays: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Take detailed histories, perform assessments, and ensure patient needs are met with the highest quality care.
• Diagnostic Procedures: Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests to support comprehensive care planning.
• Collaboration: Work alongside physicians to assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans.
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Keep accurate, up-to-date patient charts using Athena (or other EMR systems).
• Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Licenses & Certifications

• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain).

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, ideally in orthopaedics or a related field.
• Familiarity with Athena or other EMR systems preferred.
