Job summary

EPIC Health is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (PA or FNP) in Clio, MI to lead patient care in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice. The role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration with physicians, and a commitment to delivering comprehensive treatment plans.

During training, hours are Monday–Friday; after training, there is potential to adopt a 4-day, 10-hour schedule. A Master’s degree and MI PA/FNP licensure are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• MI PA or FNP licensure is required.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep patient outcomes front and center.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate their condition to diagnose and plan treatment.
• Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests (x-rays, EKGs, lab work).
• Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventative care.
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
• Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants to ensure smooth operations.

Work Schedule:

• During training: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
• After training: Option to transition to a 4-day, 10-hour schedule

What You’ll Do:

• Own patient care: Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate their physical condition to make informed diagnoses and treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with physicians: Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
• Lead diagnostic efforts: Administer and interpret diagnostic tests (x-rays, EKGs, lab work) to get to the heart of the issue.
• Provide holistic care: Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventative care.
• Perform procedures: Deliver essential care with procedures like injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations, all aimed at getting patients back to doing what they do best.
• Supervise and coordinate: Lead the charge with technicians and assistants, ensuring everything runs smoothly and effectively.

What You’ll Bring:

• 2–5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics (preferred).
• MI PA or FNP licensure (required).
• Master’s Degree in a related field.
• A deep understanding of patient care, a desire to keep learning, and a commitment to unfiltered compassion.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt on the fly while keeping patient outcomes front and center.
