Job summary

HonorHealth Heart & Lung Surgery in Phoenix/Scottsdale seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or Acute Care NP) to join our Thoracic Surgery team. The role features inpatient rounds, outpatient clinics, and first assist in the operating room with mentorship and opportunities for professional growth.

We welcome new graduates and experienced APPs. Arizona license or ability to obtain before start is required; schedule is Monday–Friday with one weekend call per month, competitive compensation,

Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) – Thoracic Surgery

HonorHealth Heart & Lung Surgery | Phoenix & Scottsdale, Arizona

HonorHealth Heart & Lung Surgery is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing Thoracic Surgery team.

Join a collaborative team of three fellowship-trained thoracic surgeons and three experienced APPs, with the addition of a fourth APP to support continued program growth. This role offers a diverse mix of inpatient care, outpatient clinic, and operating room responsibilities, providing excellent mentorship and opportunities for professional growth.

Position Highlights

• Join a collaborative team of 3 Thoracic Surgeons and 3 APPs
• Opportunity for new graduates or experienced APPs
• Mix of inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic, and first assist in the OR
• Monday–Friday daytime schedule with approximately one weekend call per month
• Primary location: John C. Lincoln Medical Center
• Secondary location: Scottsdale Shea Medical Center
• Work alongside both Thoracic Surgery and Interventional Pulmonology teams
• Epic EMR

Qualifications
