Tareen Dermatology in Minnesota and Wisconsin seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to support our Sandstone and Osceola clinics. You will deliver comprehensive medical dermatology care including skin cancer screenings, biopsies, procedures, and ongoing management of dermatologic diseases.

The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, travel between sites, patient education, and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current licensure to practice as PA or NP in Minnesota and Wisconsin (or ability to obtain before start).
• DEA license (or ability to obtain before start).
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, medical histories, and dermatologic examinations.
• Diagnose and treat skin conditions, including cancers, acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies and lesion removals.
• Assist with surgical and Mohs procedures as needed.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, skincare, and prevention.
• Review and communicate pathology results with patients.
• Manage patient messages and follow-up care through the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care.

Tareen Dermatology is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to support our clinics in Sandstone, Minnesota, and Osceola, Wisconsin.

The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver comprehensive medical dermatology care, including skin cancer screenings, diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions, biopsies, procedures, patient education, and ongoing management of dermatologic diseases. This is an exciting opportunity to serve patients across two communities while working alongside an experienced team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current professional licensure required to practice as a PA or NP in both Minnesota and Wisconsin (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

• Dermatology experience
• Previous experience in medical, surgical, or cosmetic dermatology
• Experience performing biopsies and dermatologic procedures
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, medical histories, and dermatologic examinations
• Diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and other dermatologic concerns
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, lesion removals, and other office-based treatments
• Assist with surgical and Mohs procedures as needed
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, skincare, and preventive measures
• Review and communicate pathology results with patients
• Manage patient messages and follow-up care through the EMR
• Evaluate surgical sites and perform wound checks as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinic policies
• Participate in training and mentorship of clinical staff
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation
• Perform other duties as assigned
