Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s degree from an accredited NP/PA program, Georgia NP/PA licensure, and national certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of cancer patients, as well as inpatient consults.
  • Conduct follow-up visits, treatment toxicity assessments, symptom management, and survivorship care.
  • Serve as a first-line clinical resource for infusion-related concerns and treatment support.
  • Participate in new patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations, diagnostic review, and care coordination.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and implement supportive care interventions.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, symptom management, and supportive services.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team focused on delivering outstanding outcomes and compassionate care.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Current Georgia NP or PA licensure
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA, or equivalent)
  • Two or more years of experience as an RN, NP, or PA in an inpatient or outpatient clinical setting

Preferred:

  • Medical Oncology experience
  • Disease-site-specific oncology experience
  • Oncology certification (AOCNP®, AOCN®, or equivalent)
