Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management in Mentor, Ohio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (FNP or PA) to support Occupational Health. The APP will perform pre-employment, post-offer, regulatory (OSHA), Fit For Duty, Return to Work, and Workers' Compensation physicals. The schedule is Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Nurse Practitioners must be FNP. New grads with Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health experience or clinicals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with FNP credentials.
• Experience in occupational health or related clinicals preferred.
• Will consider new grads with relevant EM/urgent care/occupational health experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients.
• Performs occupational health physicals including pre-employment, post-offer, OSHA, and return-to-work.
• Provides patient education and coordinates care across the health team.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality and compliant care.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a Nurse Practitioner as specified by the Ohio State Nursing Board and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws
