Job summary

GI Alliance–GCSA Hamilton Wolfe in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an outpatient gastroenterology clinic. You will support one physician, perform patient histories, physicals, and follow-up visits, and manage lab tests and counseling in a fast-paced private practice setting.

The schedule is Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–4pm, with salary negotiable based on experience. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and bilingual skills are required.

Qualifications

• State Licensed Nurse Practitioner credential required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Gastrointestinal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision in an outpatient clinic.
• Complete patient histories and physicals.
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order laboratory tests.

Job Description

• Main location: 5223 Hamilton Wolfe, San Antonio, TX
• No Satellite Locations
• Outpatient only
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-4pm
• Supporting one physician
• Patient follow-up visits only, averaging 14-16 per day
• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in an outpatient clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Salary range: Negotiable based on experience
