Scope of Position

The APP provides healthcare services to patients within the parameters of a standard care agreement or supervisory organization with an attending physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. They collaborate with physicians and clinicians to deliver comprehensive patient care, focusing on preventive health and management of acute or stable chronic conditions. Services are authorized and directed by the relevant credentialing and certifying bodies.

Position Summary

The APP collaborates with licensed physicians to provide healthcare during acute and chronic illnesses, including patient education, counseling, health promotion, prevention, and referrals to other healthcare providers and community resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Ohio APRN certification or eligibility as a PA-C.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or PA program recognized by Ohio or NCCPA.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or relevant PA degree.
• Preferred: 1 year relevant experience.
