The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides health care services to patients within a standard care agreement or supervisory organization with an attending physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Collaborates with physicians and clinicians to provide comprehensive patient care, focusing on preventive health and management of acute or stable chronic conditions. Performs authorized medical services as per credentialing and certifying bodies.
The APP offers healthcare services in collaboration with a licensed physician, including care during acute and chronic illnesses, education, counseling, health promotion, prevention, and referrals to healthcare providers and community resources.
- Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in Ohio
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program qualifying for certification by a recognized national certifying organization
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
OR
- Masters Prepared; Graduate of a PA-C program qualifying for certification by NCCPA
- Eligibility for Ohio licensure as a PA-C
Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience.
