Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider NP/PA, Direct Referral Unit

Schedule: M-F 12p-8p

Location: Temple Women & Families (246412)

Position Overview:

Temple University Health System's Women and Families Hospital is looking to hire an EXPERIENCED Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for this MONDAY-FRIDAY 12PM-8PM position. No on-call. No Weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area under the direction of the licensed physician.
  • Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis and the prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.

Requirements/Preferences:

  • 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice such as Women's Health and/or OBGYN Triage, Urgent Care, ED (Preferred)
  • 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred)

Education:

  • Graduated from an accredited Physician Associate program (Required)
  • Master's Degree (Required)
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP):
    • Bachelors Degree: Nursing (Required)
    • Masters Degree: Nursing (Required)

Licenses/Certifications:

  • NP License/Certifications:
    • CRNP - PA Cert Registered Nurse Practitioner (Required)
    • RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
    • PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Preferred)
  • PA License/Certifications:
    • Physician Associate License in Pennsylvania (Required)
