Scope of Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides healthcare services within a standard care agreement or supervisory organization with an attending physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Collaborates with physicians and clinicians to deliver comprehensive patient care, focusing on preventive health and management of acute or stable chronic conditions. Performs authorized medical services as per licensure and credentialing body.

Position Summary

The APP collaborates with licensed physicians to provide care during acute and chronic illnesses, educates patients and families, promotes health, and refers to other healthcare resources when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in Ohio
• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program qualifying for certification by a recognized national organization
• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• OR
• Graduate of a PA-C program qualifying for certification by NCCPA
• Eligible for Ohio licensure as a PA-C

One year of relevant experience preferred.
