Job summary

Protouch Staffing in North Carolina seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialized wound care to patients in homes and post-acute settings. The role offers clinical autonomy with physician collaboration and requires local travel within a typical workday.

You will evaluate wounds, develop treatment plans, perform procedures when credentialed, order labs/imaging, coordinate with care teams, educate patients, and document thoroughly in EHR. 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NC NP or PA license with board certification.
• 2+ years clinical experience.
• Wound care experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel locally.
• Strong clinical judgment and independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized wound care treatment plans.
• Perform wound procedures, including debridement when credentialed.

LOCATION: Elizabeth City, NC

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

SCHEDULE: 5 days/week; approximately 6 patients/day

SETTING: Mobile/field-based; local travel required

POPULATION: Medically complex adults

Summary

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
