Job summary

Carolina Heart Specialists in Lancaster, South Carolina, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established cardiology team.

This is a full-time, outpatient cardiology position with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call responsibilities. You will work with seven cardiologists and a seasoned clinical staff in a practice dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• 2+ years of direct cardiology experience strongly preferred.
• Active South Carolina license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative cardiology team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage established and new cardiology patients.
• Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions and follow-up care.
• Review diagnostic testing and clinical results.
• Provide patient education and support continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical care team.

The Role

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work alongside our cardiologists in the evaluation and ongoing management of patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and managing established and new cardiology patients
