Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Inpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Sentara Neurology Specialists team at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA. This role offers autonomy within a collaborative team, a schedule that supports work-life balance, and a focus on high-quality inpatient Neurology care.

Highlights include 100% inpatient Neurology, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, call during scheduled hours only with no nights or additional weekend call, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with hands-on clinical training.
• Active Virginia NP or PA license.
• Current DEA license.
• Ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care with a high level of clinical independence.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Neurology coverage (100%).
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Call during scheduled hours only — no nights, no weekend call.
• Manageable patient volume (10–12 patients/day).
• Fully integrated Epic EHR.
