Job summary

Prevea Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support the neuro‑interventional surgery team. Inpatient, emergency, and outpatient settings, you will assist surgeons, perform procedures under supervision, and contribute to high‑quality patient care.

The role emphasizes wound management, follow‑up care, education, and collaboration with physicians to coordinate care plans. This is a full‑time position with four 10‑hour shifts and no on‑call or weekend responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under supervision or independently, per scope of practice and credentialing.
• Provide postoperative follow‑up care, including wound management, suture/staple removal, and patient education.
• Order diagnostic and laboratory tests and prescribe pharmacological and non‑pharmacological treatments as appropriate to the specialty.
• Assess, evaluate, and manage patients with minor, acute, chronic, and episodic illnesses and injuries, including follow‑up examinations.
• Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information, documenting all details in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide case‑management services, assisting clients and families with arranging or referring patients to needed services.
• Offer health counseling and education to patients regarding their health background and wellness.

Schedule

40 hours per week (four 10‑hour shifts). No on‑call, weekends, or holidays.
