An established industry player seeks a dedicated Behavioral Health Consultant to join their Perinatal Mental Health care team. This role involves providing essential behavioral health services to patients, including triage assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention. The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) will work as a member of the UVA Health Perinatal Mental Health care team, providing behavioral health services to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. The BHC provides triage assessment, diagnostic and developmental evaluations, individual and group therapy, referral assistance, crisis intervention, and mental health screenings. Prior experience with treating women in the perinatal period is preferred.
Compensation Range: $57,907.20 - $92,643.20 annually
Sitting for prolonged periods, standing, traveling, climbing stairs; proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills; ability to lift/push/pull less than 20 lbs; exposure to chemicals, blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
