UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro, NC seeks a Part-time Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist to join our Hospital Medicine team. The APP Hospitalist will deliver high-quality inpatient care in a collaborative, team-based setting using EPIC EMR.

We offer a competitive compensation package with quality bonus, retirement plan and malpractice coverage. Shifts are 6 or 7 per month, 7am–7pm, onsite in Goldsboro, with a day-oriented schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PA or NP program.
• New grads APPs with inpatient ED or ICU experience are welcome to apply.
• Experienced Hospitalist PA or NP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient hospitalist care in a team-based program.
• Provide high-quality inpatient services and coordinate care with team members.
• Participate in daily rounds and maintain accurate documentation.

UNC Health is looking for an APP Hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This position involves delivering high-quality and team-based inpatient services. Education Requirements

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department.

Professional Experience Requirements

• No prior experience required.

• Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
