Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks an Advanced Practice Professional to provide comprehensive patient care. The role emphasizes education and adherence to ethical practice while maintaining Ohio licensure and certification.
The position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, applying evidence-based care, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within a busy clinical setting.
1.0 FTE. 80% of work performed September–May (about 3–4 shifts per week). 20% of work performed June–August: 12‑hour shifts (7a‑7p or 9a‑9p). Weekends required (approx. every third weekend). One summer and one winter holiday required annually. Competitive benefits package and pay based on experience level.
Provides healthcare to individuals or groups requiring knowledge and skill obtained from advanced formal education, certification, and clinical experience. Practices within professional scope and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the profession’s Code of Ethics while maintaining a current Ohio Advanced license.
Master of Science degree or equivalent provision.
Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio.
Maintain national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA.
