Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a full-time Gynecology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the Cancer Center at the main campus in Cincinnati, OH. The role will focus on outpatient clinic duties with some inpatient rounding and postoperative follow-up.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift, with no evening or weekend requirements. Candidates should have graduate training as an NP or PA, with a DEA license and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited NP or PA program.
• DEA license and BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• See consults, follow ups, post-operative patients and surveillance.
• Primarily outpatient office duties with some inpatient rounding/discharges.

This position will be located in the Cancer Center at the main hospital campus (2139 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219).

Position Description:

Candidate will serve as a full-time Gynecology/Oncology APP.

Job Overview:

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) may be a PA or NP that has been prepared with the appropriate graduate level education and authorized to practice and prescribe as such. The duties for this position include but are not limited to seeing consults, follow ups, post operative patients, and surveillance of patients. This position will include primarily outpatient office responsibilities, in addition to some inpatient rounding/discharges.

The schedule will include working Monday through Friday at the Cancer Center. There are no evening or weekend requirements. Gynecology and/or oncology experience is preferred.

Education:

Graduate from accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

License/Certification:

• DEA license
• BLS certified
• ACLS certified (preferred but not required)

Certified Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner certification verified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Current, valid license (registration) by the Ohio Board of Nursing or applicable state board

OR

Physician Assistant: Graduate from accredited physician assistant program with a Master's Degree Physician Assistant Certification (verified by the National Commission or the Certification of Physician Assistant - NCCPA. Current, valid license (registration) by the state Medical Board of Ohio or applicable state medical board. Current Certificate to prescribe by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
