Sentara Medical Group in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Specialists at Sentara Norfolk General and Sentara Leigh Hospital. The role supports inpatient rounds, H&Ps, discharges, and coordinated outpatient care on a team-based basis within Sentara Cardiology Specialists.

The position offers daytime shifts, a collaborative environment, and access to Sentara's extensive network for patient care across inpatient and outpatient

Qualifications

• Acute care NP or PA with Cardiology experience.
• Inpatient duties include H&Ps, rounding, and discharges.
• Outpatient duties include seeing up to 15 patients on your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient H&Ps, rounding, and discharges.
• Outpatient clinic with independent patient scheduling (up to 15 patients).
• On-call duties: 1:3, phone-based only.

Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Sentara Cardiology Specialists at Sentara Norfolk General and Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Join our dedicated Physicians and APPs as they provide a team-based collaborative approach to patient care, and are offered seamless access to the many resources available throughout the greater Sentara network for their patients.

Position Highlights

• General Cardiology
• 5 9s; 7:30-4:30 (inpatient) 8-5 (outpatient); day off every other week
• Inpatient duties include H&P’s, rounding, and discharging
• Outpatient duties include seeing up to 15 patients on your own schedule
• Call Schedule 1:3; phone only no onsite responsibilities
