Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Cardiology team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will collaborate with a highly respected team of 7 general and interventional cardiologists and 6 Advanced Practice Providers, caring for patients across both the inpatient and outpatient settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage complex cardiology patients while enjoying a supportive team environment and excellent work-life balance.
Practice at Saint Joseph Hospital, a premier cardiovascular care destination in downtown Denver. Work four 10‑hour weekday shifts with no call and no weekend responsibilities. Round on general and interventional cardiology patients in the hospital. Perform pre‑procedure evaluations and workups for cardiac catheterization cases. Remove pericardial drains and temporary pacemakers as clinically appropriate. Transition to outpatient clinic responsibilities once inpatient rounding is complete. Conduct follow‑up visits and supervise outpatient treadmill stress testing. Enjoy a manageable patient volume with exposure to a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions and advanced therapies.
