Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) to join a patient-centered gastroenterology outpatient team. You’ll provide comprehensive GI care, perform initial assessments and follow-ups, and support procedures in a collaborative setting.

The role offers a full-time schedule with a Monday–Friday workweek, no on-call requirements, and access to state‑of‑the‑art GI diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Licensed Illinois NP or PA in good standing.
• 1+ year gastroenterology outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• EMR proficiency, Epic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct initial assessments and outpatient follow-ups.
• Assist with GI procedures and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with attending gastroenterologists to optimize outcomes.

Position OverviewPrime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
• Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manageoutpatient follow-up visits.
• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.
• Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology outpatient medicine
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
