Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Gastroenterology team at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no on-call requirements, and a collaborative team environment with access to state-of-the-art GI facilities. Responsibilities include initial assessments, outpatient follow-ups, procedure support, and close coordination with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient

Qualifications

• NP or PA licensed in Illinois.
• 1+ year Gastroenterology outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with Epic EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform initial assessments and outpatient follow-ups.
• Assist with GI procedures and ensure continuity of care.

Position Overview

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative, patient-focused group while enjoying a balanced schedule and supportive work environment.

• Single-Site Role: Work at st. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL
• Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists and support staff

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
• Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manageoutpatient follow-up visits.
• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.
• Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology outpatient medicine
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
• EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
