Job summary

Riverside Medical Group is actively seeking a Full-Time Urology Advanced Practice Provider to join the Urology Specialists team on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This position offers collaborative care with experienced urology providers in both outpatient and procedural settings.

The role requires graduate training as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Virginia APRN or PA licenses, and national board certification (FNP/AGACNP or NCCPA).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current or eligible Virginia APRN license.
• National board certification as FNP or AGACNP.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current or eligible Virginia PA license.
• National certification through NCCPA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urologic care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Perform and assist with urologic procedures within scope of practice.
• Manage acute and chronic urologic conditions in clinic and hospital settings.
• Educate patients, provide counseling, and arrange follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement and adhere to clinical best practices.

Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $115,000.00 - 150,000.00

Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical best practices

Required Qualifications

Nurse Practitioners

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current or eligible Virginia Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)

Physician Assistants

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current or eligible Virginia Physician Assistant license
• National certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Licensure & Regulatory Requirements

• Eligible for Virginia licensure at time of hire
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred, based on practice setting
