The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for delivering patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, and patient education. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. The position requires creating a positive impression with patients, physicians, and visitors both in person and on the phone.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of advanced practice concepts including anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, therapeutics, nutrition, behavioral health, psychosocial systems, diagnostic testing, and clinical decision-making.
• Familiarity with medical equipment and instruments used in patient care.
• Understanding of safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Knowledge of health promotion, risk assessment, and patient education techniques.
• Awareness of community, professional, and educational resources.
• Ability to obtain a state license in KY and/or IN within your scope of practice.
