Brown University Health in Providence, RI seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department team. You will participate in diagnosis, treatment and disposition with compassionate and courteous service.
You will work with Emergency Physicians, obtain histories, perform exams, coordinate tests, and prepare patients for discharge while delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Reporting to Chief of Emergency Medicine and working as part of the Emergency Department team, the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will participate in all aspects of care including diagnosis, treatment and disposition with a particular focus on compassionate and courteous service.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Fast-paced, interactive, team-oriented Emergency Department environment with a diverse range of patients and pathology.
INDEPENDENT ACTION: Responds to individual patient-care situations demonstrating knowledge and skills acquired through education, certification and work experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None.
Pay Range: $127,504.00-$161,782.40
