JPS Health Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for Cross-Cover in Behavioral Health in Fort Worth, TX. The APP will work across Inpatient, Outpatient, Consultation-Liaison, Child & Adolescent, and Psychiatric Emergency Center as needed.

Requirements include active Texas PA or APRN with PMHNP, DEA, and BLS. The role offers relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package within a dynamic urban teaching hospital.

Qualifications

Current Texas Physician Assistant license or Texas APRN license with PMHNP certification.
DEA Certification and BLS certification.
Experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP)in the Cross-Cover role will work across multiple settings within theBehavioral Health department, including Inpatient, Outpatient,Consultation-Liaison Service, Child & Adolescent, and the PsychiatricEmergency Center, based on staffing needs determined by department clinicalleadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates multidisciplinary care to optimize patient outcomes within the scope of practice and under physician supervision as required.
Reviews medical charts to assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients and families.
Refer patients to appropriate services as needed.
Ensures care delivery aligns with JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group guidelines.
Provides evidence-based, compassionate care to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Demonstrates patient-centered and value-driven behavior
Collaborates with attending physicians, residents, learners, other providers, and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record, ensuring compliance with billing, regulatory, and accreditation standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, CMS, and Texas Administrative Code).
Participates in Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committees as needed.
Build positive relationships with staff, partners, patients, and the community to enhance the JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group experience, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Serves as a community resource.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Position-Specific Details:

ProviderSchedule: 40 hours/week (M-F) 8hr shifts

Call Schedule: Yes – InpatientWeekend Call Rotation

Qualifications:

Qualifications: Current Texas Physician Assistant license or Texas APRN license with PMHNP certification.
DEA Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of experience working as an advanced practice provider in a psychiatric setting.
