Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver patient care in collaboration with a licensed physician. You will participate in preventive health, acute care, and chronic disease management, with education and counseling for patients and families.

Minimum qualifications include Ohio APRN license or PA-C with NCCPA certification eligibility, a Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant studies, and surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio APRN license or PA-C with NCCPA eligibility.
• Master of Science in Nursing or PA-C degree required.
• 0 years experience required; 0–2 years surgical experience preferred; RNFA/PA-C credentials recognized.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in collaboration with a licensed physician.
• Focus on preventive health or management of acute and/or stable chronic conditions.
• Educate and counsel patients and families; coordinate referrals to other providers.
