Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for the Acute Care Surgery team. You will assess and manage acute surgical patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with residents and attending surgeons to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include bedside procedures, coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team, monitoring patient status, interpreting labs and imaging, and educating families.

Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Acute Care Surgery
Key Responsibilities:
Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in surgery, trauma, emergency medicine, or critical care settings preferred.
Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required
Board certification Nurse Practitioner and Acute Care certification or Board certification as Physician Assistant; Active New Jersey License; American Heart Association BLS and CDS/DEA
Schedule Hours/Days: Full Time
