Part Time - Advanced Practice Provider

Noon - 5pm - Monday to Friday, with some flexibility with schedule hours

Harrisburg Comprehensive Treatment Center provides medication-assisted treatment to individuals aged 18 and older who are struggling with SUD. Using prescription medications designed to assist in withdrawal, patients can safely progress toward lasting recovery under our medical team's supervision. Available medications include those used within our treatment plans at Southeast Massachusetts Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

Overview:

Responsible for providing medical services to patients, conducting medical care as permitted by state license guidelines. Responsibilities include medical management of patients at all levels of care, conducting physicals, and providing education, referrals, and follow-up services. May prescribe medication as allowed by state regulation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients based on training and education;
• Perform physical examinations for patients on medication maintenance;
• Ensure physician medication orders are followed, refer patients to appropriate physicians, and consult with supervising physicians;
• Evaluate patient care, adjusting plans based on outcomes, tests, and feedback;
• Provide education to patients and staff on medication maintenance;
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and policies;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited institution;
• Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred;
• No history of alcohol or drug misuse in the past three years.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Licensed in the state of the facility;
• DEA license.
