The Behavioral Health Pavilion of the Virginias, Bluefield, WV - PSYCH NP or PA

The Behavioral Health Pavilion of the Virginias is actively interviewing qualified Advanced Practice Professionals - Physician Assistants (PA) and/or Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) - for their state-of-the-art Outpatient program located in Bluefield, WV. This is a part-time (24 hours), weekday position. No weekends, holidays, or on-call! WVU/Princeton Community offers a generous and competitive compensation package, along with paid time off (PTO) and insurance benefits.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage comprehensive and individualized care for behavioral health patients in an ambulatory setting.
2. Complete initial evaluation and diagnosis. Provide follow-up evaluation and management of psychiatric disorders.
3. Collaborate with leaders and other staff members to effectively achieve patient outcomes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications Needed:

• Current and unencumbered West Virginia Nursing license as a Nurse Practitioner with current PMHNP credentials OR
• Current and unencumbered Physician Assistant license with the West Virginia Board of Medicine.
