Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Per-Diem Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a PerDiem Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute at Overlook Medical Center. The neuroscience flagship of Atlantic Health System houses a 29-bed unit for neuroscience patients, as well as a 10-bed Neuroscience Critical Care Unit for patients recovering from stroke, brain surgery, seizures, nervous system infections, head trauma and spinal surgery. The ideal candidate would provide 1-2 shifts per month, working from 7pm - 7:30am or 7am - 7:30pm (12-hour shifts). Weekends are not required.
The APP will be responsible for advance practice care delivery in collaboration with Neurocritical Care and Neurosurgical Teams. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, interpretation of diagnostic results, perform bedside procedures, daily progress notes, patient/family education and meetings. The ideal candidate would provide 1-2 shifts per month, working from 7pm - 7:30am or 7am - 7:30pm (12-hour shifts). Weekends are not required.
