Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking a Neonatologist to deliver exceptional care for ELGANs and critically ill neonates. You will work within a highly experienced team, including five Neonatologists and seven Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, maintaining autonomy with physician support.

You will collaborate across Pediatics subspecialties and participate in a comprehensive program with lactation consultants, respiratory therapy, and clinical pharmacists to support families and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board-certified neonatologist with appropriate licensure and credentials.
• Experience providing or leading neonatal intensive care.
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ELGAN and critically ill neonates.
• Collaborate with a team of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
• Maintain high level of clinical autonomy with physician support.
• Participate in multidisciplinary specialty services and consults.

• Enjoy a flexible APP schedule with a choice of 24-hour or 12-hour day and night shifts, including 24-hour call (7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m.) averaging 13 shifts per 8-week schedule or 12-hour call (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. / 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) averaging 26 shifts per 8-week schedule.
• Collaborate with a highly experienced team of 5 Neonatologists and 7 full‑time Neonatal Nurse Practitioners

• Provide care for ELGAN and critically ill neonates
• Dedicated in‑unit lactation consultants, respiratory therapists, and clinical pharmacists
• Multidisciplinary specialty support from Pediatric Surgery (Johns Hopkins), Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Ophthalmology
