Job summary

Vail Health in Denver, Colorado seeks an Advanced Practice Practitioner to provide patient care, consultation, evaluation, and education on assigned units, following the Colorado Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards.

The APP collaborates with physicians and staff to optimize patient flow, triage, documentation, and care delivery; requires PA or NP program completion and Colorado credentialing; offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Two years experience as an APP in related area preferred.
License and certifications per the employee's contract, with credentialing by the Medical Staff Office
Successful completion of a PA program accredited by ARC-PA or a CCNE/NLNAC-authorized NP program.

Responsibilities

Provides patient care, consultation, evaluation, and education to patients on assigned units.
Follows standards of care and Colorado Nurse Practice Act.
Coordinates daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction.
Maintains patient confidentiality and ensures accurate documentation.
