Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to support patients across complex therapeutic areas such as HIV, Infertility, and GLP-1 therapies. You will educate patients, monitor progress, and guide treatment journeys with personalized care.

The role involves teaching safe use of oral and self-injectable medications, and coordination of adherence support within a high-impact clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy.
• 5 years of experience in the advanced practice area; OR
• 3 years completion of PGY1 residency and 2 years experience in advanced practice area; OR
• 2 years completion of PGY1 residency and PGY2 residency.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (BLS) - American Heart Association
• California Pharmacist License - CA State Board of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate

Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$83.970 - $108.360 - $121.360

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Or Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy.
• 5 Years experience in the advanced practice area; Or
• 3 Years completion of PGY1 residency and 2 years experience in advanced practice area; Or
• 2 Years completion of PGY1 residency and PGY2 residency.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (BLS ) - American Heart Association
• California Pharmacist License - CA State Board of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery - Various-Employee provides certificate

Other Qualification Requirements

• Any BPS (Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties) Certification is required within 6 months of hire into this position.
• Advance Practice Pharmacist License-CA Board of Pharmacy is required within 12 months of hire into this position.
