Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking a physician to manage a panel of patients with both acute and chronic conditions, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention using evidence-based practice.

You will lead and collaborate with the Primary Care Team, develop individualized population health plans, and oversee clinical care, including diagnostics, referrals, and patient education.

Qualifications

• 1 year of primary care experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret EKGs is preferred.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn and use virtual care visits.

Responsibilities

• Manages a panel of patients with acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based practice.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams and collaborate with the Primary Care Team.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide education to patients and families and ensure timely documentation.
