Job summary

CAN Community Health Inc. is hiring a Non-Physician Provider to join our team in Florida. This full-time role focuses on HIV medicine and related health services, including history taking, diagnoses, and patient education.

The practitioner may supervise existing clinical staff, deliver care across prevention and treatment, and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. A valid ARNP/PA license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or bachelor’s degree.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current ARNP or PA licensure.
• Minimum three years HIV medicine experience preferred; one year required.
• IV therapy experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments on new patients and follow up at the clinic.
• Document patients’ histories, exams, and progress within 72 hours per policy.
• Assist with medical paperwork, billing, or credentialing requirements.
• Review medical results including labs and specialty reports.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Assess and manage symptoms and adverse effects.
• Collaborate with and supervise medical staff as required by state law.
• Provide training to in-house nursing staff.
• Contribute to systemwide educational and quality activities.
