Job summary

Conway Regional Health System seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the inpatient hospitalist team. The role is full-time, Sunday-Thursday evenings from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM, providing primary patient care under physician supervision.

The position requires an active Arkansas APRN (acute care) or PA license, with responsibilities including rounds, orders, procedures, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active APRN (acute care) or PA license in Arkansas.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and hospitalist team.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Meets with hospitalist on call at start of shift to determine patients for the shift.
• Rounds on assigned inpatients; discuss plan with patient and family.
• Take medical histories and perform focused exams to establish a problem list.
• Assess patients, identify conditions, develop and evaluate treatment plans.
• Order/perform labs and diagnostic tests; administer routine procedures.
• Prescribe medications and devices per protocols and Arkansas law.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; initiate consultations as needed.
• Provide patient and family education; document in medical records.
