Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $189 - $204/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a CRNA:

• Work Monday through Friday with a minimum of 2 shifts per week


• Choose from available shift schedule options: 4x8s per week, 3x13s per week, or 3x12s per week


• Available shift times include 12p-8p, 7a-8p, and 7a-7p


• Provide expert anesthesia care in high-acuity head and neck cases, difficult airways, and skull base surgeries


• Administer anesthesia for vision-saving eye procedures and fragile pediatric patients (pediatric cases are optional for locums)


• Provide general and regional anesthesia for complex ENT and ophthalmology surgeries (no blocks)


• Manage high-risk airways and unique patient anatomy with confidence


• Collaborate with expert surgical and perioperative teams in a tight-knit team environment


• Operate under medical direction as a CRNA


• Utilize Epic EMR/charting system for all clinical documentation


• Provide care primarily to adult patient populations


• Participate in optional teaching and academic opportunities as applicable


• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications


• Maintain valid Massachusetts state licensure and active DEA registration


• Complete credentialing process within the required 90-day timeframe


• Adhere to holiday coverage requirements, noting that limited vacation can be approved during holiday weeks


• Complete the first 8 hours of orientation (non-billable)


• Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and compliance documentation requirements
