Responsibilities

• Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.
• Interprets and integrates data to determine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Performs a complete physical exam and records findings; collaborates with physicians.
• Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Administers medications and injections as directed; sutures minor lacerations.
• Triages patient calls and provides consultations.
• Maintains and reviews patient records.
• Knowledge of EMR (Athena).
