• Provides direct clinical care for patient population according to established protocols in collaboration with the team.
• Maintains accurate and confidential medical records in the EHR.
• Identifies themselves to patients and clarifies CRNP role as needed.
• Works within scope and refers to collaborating physician when outside scope or requested by patient/family.
• Performs interventions based on patient status and collaborative agreement.
• Contributes to performance improvement processes to meet quality standards.
• Demonstrates professional responsibility as a role model for health care team.
• Addresses patient and family concerns and provides education on diagnosis and treatments.
• Participates in accreditation, compliance and regulatory activities.
• Precepts NP students and health care learners.
• Identifies patient/family community resources and makes referrals.
