We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to join our Rural Health Clinic and provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services to a close-knit community. This role requires strong clinical judgement, independence, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care across the lifespan. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventative care, acute illness management, and chronic disease management.
- Perform patient assessments, physical exams, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning.
- Manage a diverse patient population across age groups and clinical presentations.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in compliance with state regulations and clinic protocols.
- Perform minor procedures within scope of practice.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation.
- Provide patient and family education, care coordination, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and patient safety initiatives.
- Meet productivity, documentation, and time management expectations appropriate for a rural health setting.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License in the state of Idaho.
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA as applicable).
- Strong clinical decision and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively.
