Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital's Peds Sleep Disorders department seeks a Sleep Technician to perform basic polysomnographic testing and to set up sleep therapies, including home sleep testing and actigraphy, following physician orders.

You will primarily score sleep studies and provide patient education, adhering to department policy and Prisma Health's values of compassion, dignity, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent; CRT-SDS OR RRT-SDS by NBRC; RPSGT credential BRPT may be required.
• Two (2) years polysomnographic work experience.
• In lieu of associate degree would accept 10 years of experience in sleep medicine and/or respiratory care.
• BLS credentialing must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic polysomnographic testing procedures and initiating sleep therapies, including home sleep testing, actigraphy and other remote study technology.
• Score all sleep study procedures and provide complimentary patient education.
• Follow physician orders and departmental policy; maintain compliance with Prisma Health values.
